Background

About Stuart Hastings

I’m a director and business owner in the building services sector, specialising in, heat pumps, air conditioning and ventilation systems across residential and commercial projects.I run and help grow multiple engineering brands, with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and long-term performance. My background is hands-on and technical, which means I’m deeply involved in system design, quoting, commissioning, compliance (MCS, F-Gas, Building Control), and operational delivery—not just the numbers.Alongside day-to-day operations, I lead on business growth, branding, marketing, and process improvement, helping turn well-run engineering companies into scalable, professional organisations. I’m particularly interested in improving customer journeys, digital systems, and using technology to streamline quoting, compliance, and service delivery.I value doing things properly: correct design, correct installation, proper documentation, and honest advice—even when that means not winning every opportunity. Long-term reliability and reputation matter more than short-term wins.Always open to connecting with:• Property developers & managing agents• Commercial clients• Contractors & engineers• Industry partners & suppliers
