About Stuart Hicks

I built the team that builds property finance businesses. When I launched the business in 2017, like many entrepreneurs, I won every client, onboarded every role, convinced every candidate, and negotiated every offer. Then, at the end of the day, I cleaned the office, took out the bins, and headed home to get a few more hours in. Today, I’m fortunate to have built a team that does all of that - better than I ever did! As MD of City + Capital, my focus is now on business strategy, long-term planning, leadership, and proposition development. Externally, I maintain a deep and technical understanding of the property finance market, allowing me to support the ambitious growth plans we share with our key accounts. That means no shortcuts, and no one-size-fits-all solutions. Just tailored, strategic services that meet the individual needs of each client. If you're a firm looking for strategies to grow through effective recruitment & onboarding, we should chat.
