About Stuart Hopper

I am one of the co-founders of Table 13, a boutique consultancy helping law firms improve their service delivery and client engagement to boost their growth and profitability. A qualified lawyer with 30+ years’ experience, I advise on strategy, knowledge management, innovation (including digitisation and uses of AI) and more broadly on all aspects of service and efficiency improvement, people development and training. Born in Ethiopia, with dual British/Nigerian heritage, I enjoy building the necessary relationships across cultural and organisational complexity to deliver programmes and projects most effectively. A trained Mental Health First Aider, I am also an active champion of diversity, equality and inclusion, currently on the boards of various Africa-focused educational charities and have been on the board of my local community arts charity, university alumni association and am a past chair of the advisory board to the Social Mobility Foundation. I am also a Visiting Lecturer in the Faculty of Law at Oxford where I set up (and chair) the Industry Mentor Group for the University’s postgraduate Law & Computer Science Programme, and am a LawTech UK mentor. With Master's degrees from Oxford and SOAS as well as an MBA from Henley Business School, I am a regular speaker on the knowledge, innovation and operational change circuit, and a Fellow of the RSA.
