Stuart Kruger is a corporate general counsel and independent ethics advisor, with clients in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, clean tech, food, medical device / technology and healthcare industry. An entrepreneurial lawyer and business executive, he has a solid track record of 30+ years’ experience as a lawyer, executive and Board member. Extensive legal, ethics and business experience in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, clean tech, food, medical devices and technology, nutraceuticals and healthcare. Includes expertise in licensing, acquisitions, regulatory matters, ethics and compliance, audits and investigations, business development, commercial law, intellectual property, as well as strategic planning and turnaround projects, corporate reorganizations, complex negotiations and governance. Stuart is also currently a Professor of Law, Business and Ethics at the College and University levels in Montreal. Stuart spent 18 years at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Canada Inc. in a number of senior management and executive roles, most notably as Vice President – Legal Affairs, General Counsel and Country Head of Compliance. His responsibilities covered all facets of legal and corporate affairs throughout Canada for the corporation, national responsibility for corporate compliance, as well as serving as a member of the Corporation's Board of Directors, Executive Committee and occupying the post of Corporate Secretary. He has also held responsibility for Government Affairs and Health Policy, Business Development & Licensing and Public Affairs.
