About Stuart Lannoye

My name is Stuart Lannoye and I am currently looking for a position at an environmental consulting firm in the Midwest. I have extensive experience in implementing research projects in water resources and providing technical support using ESRI's Arcmap program both on the desktop and online. My most recent experience utilizing ArcGIS is updating databases for utilities. My experiences include working with gas, electric, and fiber projects for companies around the United States. Since finishing school, I have been employed as a GIS Intern, a Research Assistant and a Laboratory Assistant. These jobs allowed me to hone my computer skills and to enhance my knowledge base in the field of water resources. I am currently employed as a Stream Inventory Intern with Lake County through the Stormwater Management Commission. My current primary task is to travel around the County to collect data about streams in a given watershed. This includes using an iPad with the ArcGIS Collector programs to collect points in the stream that pertain to potential flooding problems. I am also responsible for updating data to a ArcGIS Online project that will be used by the public. My past jobs and most recent academic coursework allowed me to be qualified for entry-level water resource and GIS Analyst positions. Some of the most relevant classes I have taken would be hydrology, hydrogeology, groundwater geochemistry, remote sensing, water chemistry, water quality management, basic and organic chemistry, basic and advance GIS courses, and calculus. I am currently optimistic in finding a job opening that will compliment my experiences and allow me create career in the field of water resources.
