Stuart Margel is a 20+ year seasoned veteran of finance, accounting and contracts management, project staffing, recruiting and engagement management. He has been with Greylocke & Company since the end of 2006 and continues to partner with some of the region's most prestigious companies, providing both strategic search and project-based staffing. Greylocke & Company provides interim staffing, project support and contingent search services to public and private corporations, professional service firms, trade associations and not-for-profit organizations primarily in the metropolitan Washington, DC area and Mid-Atlantic region. Our specialization and experience centers on mid-to-executive level professionals with expertise in accounting, contracts management and regulatory A financial analyst with an MBA, Stuart moved into large scale project staffing with one of the world's largest specialized companies where he led the top performing region in North America as its Manager while supporting his own client base. Stuart joined his largest client, KPMG, as a Director in its finance and accounting outsourcing unit which was eventually spun off and is now known as Outsource Partners International. There he managed large scale clients that outsourced their entire accounting department from the Controller down. After three successful years, Stuart was engaged to oversee all national sales for an educational technology firm based in Montgomery County, Maryland before eventually returning to the senior project staffing industry in early 2005, where he led the Washington, DC office to profitability within four months and was promoted to Mid-Atlantic Regional Director with responsibility of direct oversight of additional offices in the Northeast Corridor. Specialties: Placement of subject matter experts for both project-specific and permanent requirements in the areas of 1) accounting and finance, 2) operations, 3) medical research & 4) contracts and grants management.
