About Stuart Miles

The Appalachian Trail, all 2500 miles of it, is a long way to walk. It takes perseverance, a deep embrace of the unexpected, and an adventurous spirit. And several pairs of boots. My name is Stuart Miles. My Appalachian Trail name for my 2005 Through-Hike was Buttah. I am an adventurer, an educator, and an educational technology leader. I taught Middle School Science for ten years, before pivoting to Educational Technology. I remain firmly rooted in a commitment to equitable access for all students to a meaningful education through Ed Tech. Customer journeys, from discovery to sales to onboarding to implementation, can be long, and winding. It’s easy for customers to get lost, get distracted, or lose focus on the value I’ve taken long journeys before, and am here to guide customers on theirs with integrity and enthusiasm. I do this through: – Developing Roadmaps and SOPs for multi-department teams for full-journey Customer Success– Leading Sales Trainings and initiatives for SDR teams – Building District and School Leadership leads through networking and social selling – Monitor KPIs for Customer Success – Build Capacity and strengths of Customer Success teams Beyond my work, you can find me jumping into whatever body of water is nearest, exploring the country with my daughters, working on my writing, playing Dungeons and Dragons, or wielding a chainsaw somewhere on my property.
