About Stuart Pearson

I bring experience, knowledge and skills to the fields of Geography, natural resource management and research. As an adjunct to my paid work I am an honorary Associate Professor in Geography at UNSW Canberra at the Australian Defence Force Academy. This is an nontenured and nonsalaried arrangement that means I cannot take on further PhD students. My research and research student’s projects included managing environmental change with applications in Australia, Indonesia and China. This continues a strong career of working in the knowledge business; doing research, sharing research and developing the impact of research. I have demonstrated impact of my work and look for opportunities to work with others who want to help people managing natural resources for the long-term. I have worked with academics, government, industry and not-for-profits in the development of new knowledge, skills and attitudes. I think strategically and practically to develop capabilities for doing things better for good.
