About Stuart Person

I grew up on a grain farm at Canwood, Saskatchewan, where I graduated from high school in 1996. From there I attended the University of Saskatchewan where I graduated with distinction from the College of Commerce (accounting major) in My passion is Agriculture, which has provided me the opportunity to become the Senior Vice President of Agriculture, and the National Leader of Crops for MNP. I have over 25 years experience in the Agriculture industry, specializing in the grain industry, and I still actively farm myself, which keeps me will informed and up to date on the important aspects of the industry. I have been an agriculture business advisor for the past 15 years with MNP LLP, and currently reside in Edmonton, Alberta. I am also active in helping many MNP agriculture clients across Canada. I was previously the national leader of MNP's Forestry and Forest Products Niche for 5 years and I have extensive experience assisting our forest industry clients in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan. I have also worked in the banking and hedge fund industry in the Caribbean, and continue to be well connected and have a keen interest in those industries.
