I am currently the Practice Manager of Rhyl Bupa Dental Care. It is a 4 surgery practice with a mixture of NHS and Private work. I joined on 19.09.22. This is my first role within this industry and it is a very challenging business but it is also highly rewarding as I manage every aspect of the business as if it was my own. My previous role was a Store Manager at Oak Furniture Land with whom I was employed for 7 years. I have 14 years of retail experience covering a wide range of roles starting from customer assistant to my last position of Assistant Store Manager. Since 11/2002 I have been employed by one of the UK's leading retailers Marks and Spencer, across various departments including fashion,store operations, foods and hospitality. I am now currently employed by uk's top discount retailer Aldi. My role as an ASM is to act as store manager when manager is not in store,the training/ development of employees in his/ her store, including Store Management in training, Estimate sales and schedules hours to meet productivity targets, I am also responsible for implementing all Health & Safety and Due Diligence measures in his/ her area of responsibility amongst other day to day duties of running the store. My last role was Food/Hospitality Manager at Marks and Spencer Prestatyn. A new store in North Wales. In my previous role as Operations Manager I had been working closely with the team developing the store and liaising with the regional manager and making sure that all health and safety measures were in line with M&S polices ready for Store Opening 07/03/13. I have also set up the backstage areas in Cheshire Oaks and Stratford store prior to the Olympic village being built. I am a very passionate and strong manager who is not afraid of hard work and enjoys challenging myself to learn and adapt to new ways of working as retail is changing every day. I believe in role modelling a strong work ethic and customer service which has helped me over exceed my targets in every KPI. I believe in loyalty and development which I have proven by staying with one of the best retailers around by not only working my way to where I am now but also helping other to do so in the process.
