About Stuart Rogers

Stuart Rogers is an international music curator known for conceiving acclaimed live work and presenting burgeoning and established talent in Australia, the U.S. and Europe. Stuart has programmed a diverse array of festivals including Sydney Festival, Freshgrass (USA), Iceland Airwaves, Punkt (Norway), and venues ranging up to capacity including The Domain Sydney, The Momentary (USA), Sydney Opera House, Carriageworks, ICC Sydney Theatre, and Scandinavia House (USA). Stuart has managed multiple international artists including Beth Orton and Ólöf Arnalds and programmed shows by Herbie Hancock, PJ Harvey, Black Coffee, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Courtney Barnett, Seu Jorge, John Cale and The Flaming Lips among many other luminaries. Stuart has DJed events for Mick Jagger, Jodie Foster, and Robert De Niro, and presented specialist music shows on East Village Radio in NYC, KRCL in Salt Lake City, and 2SER and FBi Radio in Sydney. Stuart has also made music documentaries with a couple of celebrated French filmmakers, Cannes Immersive Competition winner, Pierre-Alain Giraud (2011's 'Everything Everywhere All the Time'), and Vincent Moon (2014's 'From ATP: From Ghosts'). He is currently the Director of Programming at City Recital Hall.
