About Stuart Russell

A results-driven leader with a strong background in business transformation, continuous improvement, and customer experience, I am currently the Continuous Improvement Manager for Three UK & Three Ireland. As part of the Wider Leadership Team within the Portfolio & Change Office, I manage large, cross-functional business improvement programmes that support Three’s ambition as the #1 telecom provider in Ireland. With over a decade of experience in CX, project management, and business transformation, I have worked across the telecommunications and banking sectors, leading strategic initiatives such as: • The rollout of Ireland’s National Broadband Scheme • A full business rebrand at Three Ireland • Embedding CX transformation programmes into both Three Ireland and permanent tsb I thrive in change management, customer experience and process design, ensuring organisations can execute large-scale transformation effectively. A particular strength of mine is people management, having built and led multiple high-performing teams from the ground up since 2012. My career began in the building supply sector with Lafarge (LafargeHolcim) in the UK, before transitioning into telecommunications at Three Ireland in 2009 on a six-month contract. Over the years, I progressed through various roles, later joining permanent tsb to establish their Voice of the Customer programme. In 2020, I returned to Three Ireland in a senior leadership role to drive business change and improvement at scale. Outside of work, I am a passionate triathlete, having competed in multiple Ironman events across Europe. I also give back to the triathlon community through event support roles with Ironman UK and TriAthy events. In 2025, I am proud to serve as the Co-Race Director at the RDJ Dublin City Triathlon. My core belief? A strong work ethic is the best qualification you can have. This mindset has shaped my career, and I continue to apply it in everything I do.
