About Stuart Smith

I am a construction professional with over 30 years in Contracting spanning the Building and Civil sectors of the industry. My broad experience has developed through extensive site and office-based roles in the Middle East and UK from site management to centralised management of the business. I hold an MBA from Manchester Business School, a BSc in Building and construction management from Caledonian University, Glasgow and Chartered status in the MCIOB. I joined Lootah Engineering and Construction in 2019 with a mandate of sustainable growth based on a vision of International standard delivery. Prior, I joined Nass Contracting (Bahrain) in 1998 where I operated at a senior management level contributing to the rapid growth and expansion of the contracting business at that time delivering key major projects. In 2013 I was instrumental in establishing Nass Contracting in the UAE. I have a track record of delivering on a diversity of complex projects in Residential, Healthcare, Military and 6 star private projects as well as Industrial Civils in Power and Alumina sectors in UAE, Bahrain, KSA and the UK.
