About Stuart Smith

My greatest strength is my ability to communicate complex technical topics in terms that anyone can understand. I've worked with technology since 1989. I started as a third shift systems operator for MicroWarehouse and worked my way up through several positions there.I moved on to Quest Software where I spent about 10 years in several different positions. After Quest I spent a few years as an instructor for The California Superbike School, coaching riders on-track and in the classroom. I then moved on to work for Flight Deck Resources and then Pixel Pushers/PlateScan/Civica Software.At Civica I was doing mostly government sales and account management and had great success in this area. I really enjoy communicating with customers and prospective customers, trying to understand their needs and how my offerings might be able to help them. Currently I'm a technical sales engineer at Saritasa, a custom software development company. Having started with Saritasa as a project manager and then transitioned into technical sales I've really enjoyed the challenge of learning to better estimate new technology projects. Lately we have been working on iOS and Android mobile applications, websites and web applications. Saritasa has grown from working mostly with small companies and entrepreneurs to more SMB and enterprise level software solutions.
