All of my projects have always gotten built and always gotten shipped! Professional PCB designer with 20+ years of experience designing printed circuit boards to exact customer specifications. I work well with teams in support of new and finished products: mechanical engineers, designers, electrical engineers, customers, production staff, vendors. Especially, I’ve worked closely with electrical and mechanical engineers in the research and development of new designs along with prototype 3D solid modeling. I have a passion for design work. I love the design of circuit assemblies from concept to production. And it even works in an airplane! Problem solving for new design and manufacturing issues involved with developing products is a fascinating challenge for me. I started my career as an electronic technician testing units at a small company while in I was still in college. While there I learned to use AutoCAD to design various electronic boxes that went on aircraft. I was hooked! And the rest is history. I’m known for an exceptional attention to detail so my co-workers would bring work to me for a thorough check. My colleagues will also tell you that I take care of a lot of the loose ends to bring a project to completion, have great documentation and my designs aren’t half bad. Design work is constantly changing. You can count on that. I easily adapt to make those changes and still meet deadlines.
