Prior to joining AWS, I worked for Bloomberg LP in New York as a commodity subject matter expert (SME), setting the sales and marketing strategy across the commodity universe – power, gas, renewables, oil and refined products, agriculture and metals. Managed partner relationships covering active customers worldwide, contributing to both core and enterprise revenue for the firm. Built and maintained key relationships with decision makers across the commodity value chain. Provided in-depth market insights to clients in order to increase the scope of the relationship and associated revenue opportunities. Developed the Bloomberg energy platform by working with business partners on market data, regulation and best practices. Previously worked in Direct Trading at DV Trading and Mandara Capital, independent commodity derivatives trading firms specializing in crude oil, fuel oil, middle distillates, light ends and ethanol. Consulted management to set up the physical presence of Mandara, establish legal US trading entities and trade flows, and onboarding counterparties to trade with. Prior to that, worked at Glencore Ltd establishing the price risk management desk. Specialized in providing hedging solutions on both financial transactions as well as derivatives embedded in physical transactions. Prior to Glencore, worked at Credit Suisse in their global commodities group, covering a wide range of corporate clients for their hedging needs.
