About Stuart Walker

I’m a Service Management professional with over 20 years experience, encompassing multiple industries, technologies and methodologies.The last six years have been focused on delivering and managing ServiceNow implementations - IT Service Management, HR Service Delivery and Customer Service Management - in large complex organisations. Officially, my job titles have been ServiceNow Programme Manager, Project Manager and Product Owner. However, the work has extended beyond that into the realms of Business Analyst, UAT Lead, Service Portal designer and copywriter. In summary, I’m comfortable on the ServiceNow platform at a System Administrator level, but I’m not a developer. My background and strengths are strong product knowledge allied to strong process knowledge.I know ServiceNow can deliver great improvements to organisations, but only if the people, processes, procedures and data are in place to underpin it. The previous 10 years were focused on Service Design and Transition roles based around the ITIL framework, so I’ve created many, many incident, change and request management processes. Within that time I’ve worked with developers and support teams who were based on-shore and offshore, in-house and outsourced. I’ve worked on waterfall and agile projects and, in recent years, a combination of both.
