Positive and enthusiastic professional with a passion for hospitality and community development. Over 30 years of experience in different regions of the United States. Restaurant, hotel Industry plus other management positions throughout the country in 5 Star resorts, casinos, hotels, PGA facilities, catering and restaurants. Currently living in Indianapolis, Indiana and a recent gradaute of a MPA (Masters of Public Affairs) from Indiana University. The focus of the degree provides knowledge of board development, economic and community assistance of non-profit organizations. Working on completing Creighton University’s Interdisciplinary Leadership Ed.D. Began classes in January 2020. Doctoral degree completion 2023. The school was chosen due to its reputation, personal instruction, and for choosing leadership candidates who long to affect lasting and meaningful change in their communities, workplaces and beyond. The school has roots on Ignatian values, and this program is shaped by the Jesuit ideals of academic excellence, respect for human dignity and a faith that does justice. Many of the successful alumni have obtained career paths as chief executives, school administrators and educators, marketing and sales leaders, human resource and various other occupations that require strong and value-driven leadership skills. Professional experience includes: Leadership positions, employee training, development, management and supervision in all areas of food and beverage, event planning, event/banquet operations, front office, accounting and all service levels existing in both front and back of house operations. Other experience nonprofit board development, grant writing, real estate, insurance and all operational phases of restaurant development. Educational expertise : Public law, public/private organizational administration, governmental affairs and non-profit management.
