I am an enthusiastic, dynamic, vastly experienced and a dedicated occupational health public health nurse with over 38 years of clinical experience. I thrive on new ideas and concepts and I apply evidenced based knowledge to my consulting. My occupational health clinical work includes international consultancy, full remit occupational health delivery & undertaking vocational/workplace health legal-medico cases following part 35 expert witness instructions. I am accredited with a Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate - Civil Law. I am a proud recipient of the Queens Nurse Award presented in recognition of commitment to community patient care, demonstrating innovative practice in the specialty of occupational health nursing. I have completed the BSc Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) degree with first class honors at London South Bank University. I have successfully attained Post grad.Teaching in Professional Practice at UWS, I am a Nightingale Fellow. I have published a number of OH papers and my work during the Covid pandemic was featured in The Sunday Times. My private consultancy, SKC OH Ltd undertakes an OH remit tailored to meet our SME clients bespoke workplace health requirements: case management, guidance on HSE risk management and health surveillance, workstation assessment,fork lift truck medicals and saftey critical medicals including drug and alcohol screening. We offer mental health awareness training, strategic workplace health and wellbeing management guidance as well as services for work and travel. My delivery includes occupational travel health, phlebotomy and immunisation programmes.
