As the Contracts Manager for Auckland at FIRST Security, I lead a team of more than 200+ officers, ensuring the highest standards of safety, service, and performance for our clients and the public. I have over fourteen years of experience in the security industry, working my way up from a Security Officer, Supervisor, Client Services Manager, Senior Client Services Manager, Operations Manager and to a Branch Manager in the Waikato region and currently an Contracts Manager in Auckland. I am passionate about developing and empowering my staff, providing them with training, coaching, and feedback, as well as managing their rosters, deployments, and wellbeing. I am also adept at communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, such as the regional manager, the national operations centre, the clients, and the local authorities. I have a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service, managing risks, and solving problems effectively and efficiently. In recognition of my leadership, achievements, and professionalism, I have received several awards and honors, such as the Women in Security Aotearoa - Leader, the NZSA Finalist for Security Supervisor/ Operations Manager of the year 2022, the FIRST Security - 2022 STRIVE Office Employee of the Year and NZ Outstanding Security Performance Awards(OSPAs) Finalist in the Outstanding Contract Security Manager/Director category of the 2023. I am committed to advancing the security industry and contributing to the safety and wellbeing of the community.
