Understanding the dynamics of the changing economy with five years of research experience in reputable universities and five+ years of working experience in both asset and liability arms of the world’s most reputable reinsurer and China’s largest insurance group. I was trained to be a financial modelling specialist, an asset portfolio manager, a data miner/client profiler, and a PE analyst with an A+ rating in every role. I joined the MQF program at the University of Waterloo in September 2023- 5 years of academic research and 5+ years of working experience in the world’s leading (re)insurance companies- Maintained consistent A+ performance rating in every role- Experienced in insurance asset liability management (ALM), familiar with various Chinese regulations in investment and insurance asset management, with particular proficiency in foreign investor regulations- Leading in-house PE analyst of elderly and healthcare projects with over CAD 1 billion combined exposure- Coded IFRS9 impairment engine and evolved into production with a daily turnaround of over CAD 400 billion.
