About Subbu Janaswamy

I have 5 years of experience in the mechanical design and modelling industry. I have utilized my SolidWorks as well as AutoCAD skills in a project management capacity in order to meet tight deadlines and provide deliverables to clients of various organizations I have worked for. These projects included implementing lean manufacturing techniques (kaizen) in a glass production plant, and documenting/modelling laminating, printing, conversion, and extrusion machines as well as their respective conduit, water, and air inputs for a bag manufacturing plant relocation project. In both of these roles I also had to liaise with Department Team Leads in order to figure out storage and space constraints and limits. This included conducting a force balance analysis on the load strengthening of the warehouse floor, documenting this information, and presenting it to senior management along with a reinforcement recommendation. Throughout my career, I have worked in manufacturing as well as design in order to broaden my horizons and learn new skills that can be useful in the future. I am an accomplished public speaker who has been to leadership courses to learn and implement good project management techniques.
