Subha Rakesh, Founder of Cognizance Academy is an International Speaker, renowned Mathematics subject matter expert and FIDE Chess Arbiter. A topper in Mathematics (MSc) from the prestigious Government Victoria College, Kerala, and a Certified Vedic Math Professional from Indian Institute of Vedic Math and Abacus (IIVA), Subha is currently heading the Cognizance Academy, one of India’s brightest institutes for Vedic Math. She has rich experience in teaching and research. Under her tutelage, hundreds of pupils have excelled in Vedic Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Mental Ability and Chess for 10+ years now. A former Manager with State Bank of India, Subha Rakesh also has a strong command of banking and finance. Among her other illustrious academic achievement, Subha has JAIIB from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, and a Diploma in Business Management from ICFAI. A leader in her own ways, Subha was the first woman from Ernakulam District and the second from Kerala to secure the FIDE Arbiter Title from World Chess Federation (FIDE). A prominent name in India’s Chess circle, Subha has been working as a Chief Arbiter, Deputy Chief Arbiter and Fide Arbiter in many International, National, State and District events, both online and offline. One of the state level leading organizers of Chess Tournaments, Subha also organized the International Fide Rated event SMART GIRL FIDE in KERALA, exclusively for women and girls, which is one of the biggest Smart Girl Fide events in India. She was the Program Chair for the Rotary Smartmove International Online Chess Tournament 2021, organized by Rotary Club of Cochin Smartcity, which covered 6 continents and 45 countries. She is a frequent speaker at different national and international events. She has also spoken at global platforms for women’s empowerment programmes. Subha conducts frequent Webinars on various topics like Vedic Math, Logical Reasoning and Mental Ability. She has also been a Motivational Speaker for events in esteemed schools and colleges. Subha is also closely associated with philanthropic activities. She works with NGOs and provides free education to the underprivileged students to help them rise and shine.
