About Subhadeep Das

I obtained my Bachelor in Physical Therapy from the West Bengal University of Health Sciences in 2010. Immediately after graduation I began my career at a busy private clinic in Kolkata, West Bengal. Here I acquired experience treating a wide variety of conditions and injuries including whiplash (WAD), sports injuries, repetitive strain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, post-operative rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, neurological disorders, and chronic pain. My strength is my ability to listen to my clients and provide the education they need to have a successful outcome. I feel the most important aspect of rehabilitation is good communication between client and physiotherapist: it is a relationship where both parties have to complete their assigned tasks. Working in physiotherapy, you never know what someone will walk through the door with. Some of my favourite conditions to treat include shoulder impingements, Achilles tendinopathy, and plantar fasciitis, and I also enjoy working on balance retraining and fall prevention. I believe teamwork is an essential aspect of physiotherapy and that the client is a key member of that team. Through my experience in the hospital and in Neurological rehab I have learned the importance of empowering people to make life long changes in order to take control of their injury or disease. I excel at this aspect of care. With a special interest in Stroke Rehabilitation and working with patients with Parkinson’s disease, I come to Pinpoint with a wealth of Neurological rehab experience.
