Background
About Subhajit Paul
I am keen on developing a temperament for research with the potential for fact-based problem solving including policy analysis. I am particularly interested in the interplay between media and politics and the potential effects that identity assertion, associated with political intent, could have on the media discourse. I have had some experience in this regard, having conducted extensive research in India's Northeast, a melting pot of diverse identities. I have also taught at the tertiary level, focusing on Media Laws and Ethics, Media and Human Rights, and Photography. I have had a brief stint doing B2B content management, social media marketing, and client servicing. For information on my research interests, the links provided, as under, should help.
