I am a biomedical researcher with over 20 years of research experience in infectious diseases (Malaria) cell biology, host-pathogen interactions, functional bioassays, antigen discovery, recombinant proteins and enzymes, immunoepidemiology, and assessment of vaccine clinical trials. I am passionate about applying innovative ideas towards producing cost-effective biotherapeutics and developing novel vaccine platform which could be applied towards rapid generation of Virus-Like Particle (VLP) conjugated vaccines against a variety of diseases. Additionally, I have exciting insight into modulation of gut-brain axis through use of probiotics / specific microbial metabolites for improving neurological conditions such as depression.
