Hello! I'm Subin, a McMaster University student majoring in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering with a large fascination with sports technology. Biomedical Engineering is a fairly new concept that has started to impact the world already. However, rather than creating artificial skin like some of my peers, I am working towards being an industry leader in sports engineering. In this field, I would like to reduce the number of athletic injuries drastically by developing machine learning algorithms, sensor devices, and prosthetics meant to optimize athletic potential. There are millions of sports- and recreational-related injuries that occur annually, and while small injuries may not be considered a crisis to some people, there are hundreds, whose job is to stay physically fit and healthy in order to perform in peak condition. While I may not be a sports medicine doctor, I am receiving the education of one to ultimately, come up with a flawless solution that can dramatically revolutionize the sports medicine world and help millions of both aspiring and current athletes worldwide.
