Background

About Subramani Ravi

As a Senior Technical Support Engineer at DHI India, I provide hydrological modeling and groundwater modelling training with my expertise. I integrate hydrogeological, hydrological, and socio-economic data to develop sustainable coastal and urban aquifers solutions. Additionally, I have hands-on experience in river basin mapping, micro-watershed atlas preparation, hydrometeorological data validation, and technical documentation.I hold a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering in groundwater resource management and an M. Tech in Construction Engineering and Management. My research focuses on addressing groundwater depletion, seawater intrusion, and the impact of urbanization on aquifer vulnerability. I have applied advanced geospatial tools and numerical modeling techniques to delineate groundwater quality potential zones, assess urbanization impacts through hydrogeochemical analysis, and develop predictive models for seawater intrusion and artificial recharge structures.I have published three research papers in reputed international journals, covering groundwater management, coastal aquifer vulnerability, and urban sprawl dynamics in water resource planning. With expertise in FEFLOW and MIKE software, I have conducted aquifer vulnerability assessments, mapped groundwater potential zones, and developed density-dependent models for seawater
