A resolute and committed pharmaceuticals business professional with more than 3 decades work experience in the domestic industry at levels from MR to President. Dabbled into Pharma Consulting with focus on M & As, equity investment in health care, Sales & Marketing strategies, Digital shift in pharma marketing, Real World Evidence in India with special focus on Oncology therapy area. My expertise lies in leading domestic pharmaceuticals business in mass based and niche therapy areas like Oncology, Biologics, Critical Care, Neurology, Nutrition. As the President (India Business), have led team of about 1300 colleagues, reporting to the CEO; led appreciable growths in revenue, profits and market share, have spearheaded successful M & As (neuro-psychiatry business from Sun Pharma, domestic business of Bafna Pharmaceuticals and Medispan (probiotics), brand acquisition (J&J) and divestment of Agila Specialities (subsidiary of Strides). Have worked closely with the Board. All functions like Sales & Marketing, HR, SCM, Finance, P2P manufacturing and Regulatory pertaining to domestic business was my responsibility. Have driven new products development & commercialization and sales force strategy in pursuit of the desired growths. Led impactful project "Anaemia in adolescents" with an empowered advocacy group (in Strides). Led commercial team launch of 1st biosimilar MaB (Rituximab) in India (Dr. Reddy's Laboratories). Led the 2 of the largest domestic oncology businesses in India (Dr. Reddy's Laboratories and Dabur Pharma Ltd) Worked for multiple therapy areas like Oncology, Critical Care, Enteral Nutrition, Women's Health, CV, Diabetology, Neuro-psychiatry, Pain Management, VMS etc. Special interest and relationship in Oncology. Worked with a PE firm running a diagnostic company as the investor's representative. Worked closely with government bodies and industry associations for relevant causes. Was a member of "Board of Studies in Pharmaceutical Management" of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. Have been awarded with business leadership awards thrice 2020, 2021 and 2022 by industry bodies.
