About Subroto Chaki

An operational fighter pilot, a qualified flying instructor and an experimental test pilot. My journey as a test pilot has seen me evolve from a team member, to flight test lead and finally to leadership and oversight roles. Work experience in defence aerospace spans system upgrades, system integration, prototype aircraft testing and oversight roles. A unique background of technology, operations and people skills equips me to thrive in technologically challenging, time sensitive product development, testing and operationalisation. I believe successful aerospace product development is dependent on:* Putting the customer at the centre of everything we do.* Identifying the right problems that are worth solving.* Create the right framework for decision making. Gut instinct is good, but seek data.* Execution of big ideas with given constraints and time frames. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing new perspectives.
