About Sudeep Pal

I have worked in corporate India for over 30 years and largely it has been an enjoyable journey. I started my career with Tata Tea in Kolkata where I gained valuable exposure in internal audit, sales accounting and commercial finance, budgeting and control, financial reporting, compliance, etc. During these years there was extensive on the job travel. In 2005 I undertook a career shift and moved to Mumbai to work on an opportunity with Reliance Industries Limited in petroleum marketing. This was a short stint and after 4.5 years in end of 2009 I took up an assignment with Indian Hotels Company Limited (Taj Hotels) where I continue to work. In my current assignment I have successfully looked after all accounting and financial matters for an aviation venture of Taj Hotels and have had extensive exposure to running and management of operations of air charter companies. Currently I work with Taj SATS Air Catering Limited, which is a subsidiary of Taj Hotels and where I am deputed as the CFO. My colleagues and associates at work state that my ability to stay calm in the face of tremendous pressure is remarkable and my inter-personal skills at work is of help in getting work done.
