About Sudeep Sengupta

I am a seasoned IT Programme Management Professional with extensive experience in Banking industry, cutting across multiple business and functionals domains, with an overall experience of more than 17 years. In the last more than a decade, I have performed a wide range of IT roles (detailed below) working out of London, Pune (India), Vancouver (Canada), Dubai (UAE) and now Hong Kong - all working for HSBC Bank PLC. I have successfully demonstrated usage of both ‘waterfall methodologies’ and ‘agile principles’ while delivering large scale transformations to the bank, across multiple business lines. Along with experience of delivering Projects and Programmes, I have a track record of successfully managing medium to large sized cross functional IT delivery teams (60-70 plus) in an offshore high-pressure environment, building strong relationships across other global locations. I have drafted and implemented ‘IT offshoring’ strategy successfully in the past.I hold a Master’s Degree in Management (finance) and a Diploma in IT, after graduating in Accounting and Finance. I have acquired two coveted Industry certifications of PMP and Certified Scrum Master few years back. I do also hold a Practicing Certificate on ‘Securities’ from HKSI.
