About Sue Blake

Sue Blake is a senior executive with extensive experience across multiple industry sectors. Sue was responsible for the successful growth and expansion of the RACV Club & Resorts Division, which was progressively developed to a portfolio of 10 world class, award winning Club and Resort facilities and servicave beenes in three states. As a result, RACV Club & Resorts became the third pillar of the diverse RACV business, accounting for one third of RACV revenues and more than 2.5 million Member transactions each year. Sue is an accomplished leader with demonstrated skills in the operational management of large and complex organisations.Under her leadership, the service culture, business planning and management framework, employee relations framework, marketing strategy, procurement processes and hospitality IT systems were transformed to support the delivery of high quality member services. With experience and skills in capital planning, major capital works, negotiation and project management Sue led the planning, construction and commissioning of Healesville Country Club redevelopment, Torquay Resort and Inverloch Resort; the acquisition, transfer and commissioning of the Noosa, Hobart and Goldfields Resorts and major facility enhancements at Royal Pines, Cobram, Noosa, Inverloch, City Club, and Hobart to better align with member needs. Sue has broad health care experience in public and private settings through her governance, management and clinical roles. She has a keen interest in quality and safety, clinical service redesign, and clinical governance. She has a strong record of working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve engagement and beneficial outcomes. Leveraging her senior executive experience, ten years ago Sue took on a governance role at the Shrine of Remembrance as a Trustee. Sue has been the Chair of the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee.since 2017 and is a member of the Master Planning Working Group.
