I design and create graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as brochures, posters, packaging, displays, etc. I use a variety of programs to achieve artistic or decorative effects. I also determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type.* Ability to prioritize and adjust workloads.* Strong organizational skills, ability to function and contribute to a team, good interpersonal skills, willingness to take on project ownership; self-motivated.* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Other tasks include:* Communicate with clients to discuss and determine layout design.* Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.* Review and proof final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.* Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products.* Work with translators on French and Spanish translations.
