About Sue Breding

Sue Breding has worked as an Emmy® award winning reporter and anchor in two of the nation’s largest TV markets, Phoenix (KTVK, 3TV) and Los Angeles (KCAL-9). In 2023 she was was selected as the prestigious national 'Communicator of the Year’ by 3CMA, which represents all city and county communications professionals across the country, she was selected as an ‘Outstanding Women in Business’ honoree by the Phoenix Business Journal and PHOENIX Magazine highlighted her with a 'Best Marketing Idea' write-up in its 'Best of the Valley' edition for her March 2023 press conference renaming Glendale AZ to Swift City for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour kickoff concerts. She also earned two 2023 Rocky Mountain Southwest Emmy nominations. Sue has been a dedicated member of the Board of Governors for the Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter, including leadership roles as an executive team member, a National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Trustee and she serves as co-host and producer for the annual Gold & Silver Circle Induction Ceremony dinner event. Sue is on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Women Leading Government professional organization. She is a member of Charter 100, a group of top female leaders in Arizona. She is currently the communications director for the city of Glendale, AZ, supervising a multidisciplinary team, including the award-winning video production professionals. In 2023, she provided visionary leadership for Super Bowl LVII played at State Farm Stadium, overseeing public affairs for the city of Glendale and serving the entire state on the AZ Super Bowl Host Committee’s communications council. That Super Bowl broadcast became the most watched telecast ever. She now oversees communications for the city of Glendale for the NCAA Men’s Final Four Basketball Championship, which will be held in 2024 in Glendale. She serves on the Final Four Host Committee’s marketing team. Her dedication to community service and mentoring have been constant her entire career. Among other honors, she was bestowed with the Arizona Governor’s Council Award for outstanding service to the community and her community service work as well as career excellence as a news reporter earned her a spot as an inductee in the Silver Circle of the Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter.
