Experienced Marketing Director with a demonstrated history of working with engineering, manufacturing and distribution firms focused on providing water treatment solutions for a cleaner, more sustainable planet. Skilled in Team Building, Leadership, Business Development, Digital Marketing, and Sales Management. Strong sales and marketing professional with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University. As a second-generation Burt family member, Sue has grown up with Burt Process Equipment since its inception in 1970. She earned a Mechanical Engineering degree from Tufts University in 1984. During the 1980’s Sue began her career in the company’s sales department and, shortly thereafter, assumed the role of Sales Manager. Now, as Marketing Director, Sue has built a team of exceptional individuals who are pioneering digital and traditional marketing strategies, new branding initiatives, developing a best-in-class web presence and implementing CRM integration for marketing automation. The Marketing Department has positioned Burt Process for continued growth through brand recognition that’s synonymous with engineered excellence in products and services. In 2018, Sue led the development of the company’s core values and corporate goals, to support the vision and shape the culture of Burt Process. Sue most appreciates the people who have made Burt Process what it is today. She knows that’s what her father and company founder, Bill Burt, would be most proud of. Everyone who has worked at Burt Process over the past 50 years is part of “The Burt Family”. That’s what makes Burt Process so unique and successful.
