An FCIM Chartered Marketer with a background in accountancy and a passion for learning - getting measurable ROI from multi-channel marketing campaigns. I've made the transition from service to manufacturing, with a firm belief that marketing skills are truly transferable.'Getting stuff done' is my USP and I've been lucky enough to build great teams around me to help me deliver outstanding results. I love to keep up to date with new and developing marketing channels, to understand how they may become part of our strategy in the future. Every day's a school day - and in this ever-changing, digital world, I believe we should never stop learning. My background in accountancy helps with planning, budgeting, executing and measuring the return on investment of each marketing campaign - and also helps to bridge the communication gap between a company's marketing and finance departments. Creating great content that helps customers make their own decisions is hugely important to me, as well as brand profile and messaging being consistent across multiple platforms. Having responsibility for the public perception of the Liniar and Avantek brands is something I take very seriously - whilst trying to inject an element of fun into the working day. Marketing tends to spill over into my personal life too, and I can often be found helping to promote live music gigs at Real Time Live in Chesterfield (see Over recent years I've learned a lot about pushing myself to the limits by taking on the challenge of running the London Marathon (in 2015) and raising over for the MS Society. I have also run several more half marathons, including the Great North Run twice, although I'm running decidedly shorter distances these days. Setting goals and achieving them is what drives me on.
