About Sue McLeod

I have been running my own pottery/soy candle business since 2008. I make a wide range of ceramics including functional tableware, sculptural teapots and translucent porcelain candle vessels. I have a keen understanding of ceramic glaze materials and have devoted a great portion of my ceramic study to glaze testing and formulation. I sell my work through galleries and at art shows and craft markets as well selling directly through my website. I do all of my own web design and marketing including the creation of printed marketing materials through the use of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I do all of my own craft photography with the use of a photo light box and dSLR camera. I have an amateur understanding of HTML5 and CSS code and can create a website without the use of website building platforms. I have an amateur understanding of WordPress and social media platforms and their use in business marketing. I am also a certified Hatha Yoga Instructor and can teach various types of yoga classes including hatha flow, vinyasa, yin and restorative.
