About Sue Page

I am a proud member of GAMMA PHI DELTA SORORITY INC. I've worked with the Detroit Police Department as a Community Service Officer and know the needs of our community. I also own my own Executive Protection Company which hires qualified individuals who would like to be bodyguards which work for different corporations on a very professional level. This position has taken me all across the country to work with individuals and their companies to fit their needs. I'm CPL qualified and also have worked in the Security field for 18+ years. I was involved with helping to advocate for adults and children. This gave me the opportunity to work with the Michigan Headstart Association which entailed me being one of the Directors on the Board of Directors of the Headstart Association and Co-Chair on the Govermental Affairs Board. Do to my experience working with different organizations I've deemed special skills that have led me to Public Speaking in front of more than people. I've done Voice-Overs for several companies. But the work that I was most excited with was speaking on behalf of the work they do with the children who might not have otherwise had a chance to be educated. I also was the Facilitator on a project called "Looking at Life". This gave me the opportunity to work closely with the parents of each child who attended headstart and show them coping skills, how to engage their children in activities they wouldn't have thought of, how to talk with others and communicate on job interviews, how to effectively deal with everyday life. To spearhead such a project wasn't easy but well worth my time and effort. I saw a change in people that was so gratifying that it made me cry to see those individuals and their grown-up children today. I cherish the impact that I've made on each and every person I've known. I've also worked for the City of Detroit in different capacities as a Customer Service Representative for the Detroit Library and I am an Author.
