About Sue Terry

I am an experienced nurse that is eager to become a part of your team. I would be an asset because I am a hardworking, determined, dependable, and compassionate person. I enjoy working with others and enjoy being a part of the care and comfort of the patient. I have work experience in small, rural hospitals as well as large urban hospitals. This has enabled me to gain experience working as a large or small team in caring for the patient. I have worked in labor/delivery, cesarean section, and then to postpartum and nursery, as well as the medical/surgical, and geriatric floor. While in these positions, I gained confidence, honed my assessment skills, and learned to communicate with the physician on behalf of my patient. I also have an extensive history in clerical work. By having this background, I am very detail oriented and organized. I understand how much documentation, paperwork/computer work, and charting are a pivotal part of nursing. These positions enabled me to understand that a good nurse must have a good relationship with her supporting staff and treat them with the respect they deserve. Every position is an integral part of the best care for the patients. I have continued to enhance my educational background in order to better care for the patient. I plan to graduate in May 2013 with a Master of Nursing, and a Family Nurse Practitioner Degree. As you can see, I already have years of experience in providing the safety, care, and comfort of the patient and their families. I am interested in finding a position that would enable me to use my degree to change lives and improve care for patients.
