I help fiction authors turn good manuscripts into unforgettable novels.My life has always revolved around story. I was the kid reading under the covers with a flashlight and the adult who still loses track of time inside a great book. That lifelong love of fiction led me to major in English, build a career as a reporter and editor in news media, and teach English and journalism at the high school and college levels.Later I chose to focus on what I love most: working one-on-one with authors.Today, I partner with fiction writers as an editor and book coach, helping them strengthen structure, deepen character arcs, clarify theme, and refine language at the sentence level. My background in journalism trained me to spot what’s unclear, inconsistent, or unnecessary. My experience teaching writing taught me how to explain craft in a way that makes it usable. My love of fiction keeps the heart of the story intact.I’ve worked with multiple Amazon best-selling authors, helping them shape manuscripts that are cohesive, compelling, and ready for publication.Fiction authors don’t just need someone to fix commas.
