I’m a globally oriented communications strategist and intersectional feminist, translating lived realities into narratives and strategies that drive systemic change—especially for women, refugees, and marginalized communities. Communications & Development Specialist with over 8 years of experience operating at the confluence of gender justice, community empowerment, and visual storytelling—despite systemic challenges in representation. Dedicated to amplifying marginalized voices, especially those of women, refugees, and youth, through intersectional feminist research, strategic communications, and grassroots engagement—even when resources are limited. Expert in crafting inclusive narratives that translate field realities into impactful digital campaigns, organizational documentation, and advocacy tools—ensuring that lived experiences inform policy and public discourse. Currently leading partnerships and communications at the Calcutta Foundation, that has spearhead initiatives like Apni Kutir—safe, transformative spaces for women and children in urban and semi-urban India. Previously managed cross-cultural programs addressing refugee integration, education, and cultural diplomacy—with a special focus on Afghan women artists and displaced communities across India. Equipped with a transdisciplinary background spanning media, policy, and participatory research—enabling me to navigate complex socio-political landscapes and foster inclusive development models.
