About Sugata Barui

A Cell Biologist by training comprising the research fields of Cancer Biology, Cell & Molecular Biology, Immunology and Pharmacology; Having extensive practical experience in developing multifunctional advanced nanomaterials for targeted cancer therapy (vaccine/siRNA/drug delivery) and diagnosis, carrying out cell based functional assays and preclinical mice experiments; Instigating research interest in developing innovative cell based functional assays and screening methods to evaluate potential therapeutic usefulness of different drug formulations, their interactions with living systems & consequences; Managing external funded projects as Principal Investigator, developing research strategies and functionally involved in cell and molecular biology assay optimization for the project establishment, responsible for project design and operational management of the projects, leading the projects with team members through training & knowledge transfer.
