About Suhel Miah

I am a trusted, skilled and experienced (20 yrs) leadership and management practitioner providing strategy-oriented analysis, improving performance and efficiencies in operations, projects and learning and development functions. I don't just plan and develop strategy for the road ahead, but I execute, collaborate, work hard and follow-through for effective implementation, and ensure we get there together come rain or shine. That is how I make a difference! My strong academic (Executive MBA with Distinction) and professional standing (Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute) has enabled me to add valuable high-level expertise and ideas to achieve business goals. As a leader, I think analytically and strategically. I uphold values and integrity, build and maintain productive relationships, to respond creatively to challenges. I have worked with people from across the world, collaborating across cultures, to deliver results. As a self-starter, I take ownership, commit to the task and go the extra mile. I have successfully led operations and managed cross-functional teams (50+ people), complex programmes and projects. I have developed networks and partnerships that led to win-win income generation in dynamic team environments. Learning and development is my passion and the cornerstone of my career, coupled with strong work ethics, drive and confidence to excel in challenging situations. I love travelling, adventure, hiking and mountain trekking. I completed an expedition to the Torres Del Paine National Park, Patagonia, Chile, in challenging winter conditions, in a fantastic landscape with lakes, mountains and glaciers.
