About Suja Samuel

I am a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience in nursing, clinical leadership, and healthcare quality improvement. I began my nursing career in India in 2003, working in critical care settings before relocating to Ireland in 2005. Since then, I have built my career in Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, working across medical specialties and progressively advancing into leadership and quality roles.I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Leadership (2012), and a Master’s degree in Advanced Leadership (2018). After many years of frontline nursing, I transitioned into management, serving as CNM1 and later CNM2. In 2021, I took on a role in infection prevention and control, followed by a move into the Quality and Safety Department as a Quality Manager. Since late 2023, I have been serving as a Patient Liaison Officer, where I lead complaint management, patient engagement, and service improvement initiatives.My passion lies in driving patient-centred care, fostering open communication, and ensuring high standards of clinical governance and quality across healthcare services.
