Background
About Sujan Daring
I'm Sujan Daring, a dedicated development professional with over 8 years of experience. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Alumni Impact at Teach For Bangladesh, I am driven by the vision of creating systemic change in education. In my role, I collaborate closely with the Program team to embed the Alumni vision into Fellow support and facilitate a seamless transition from Fellow to Alumni within our program continuum. Working hand-in-hand with Fellows and Alumni, my focus is on preparing them for post-fellowship careers, particularly in fields critical to achieving educational equity. As a Senior Manager of Alumni Impact, I take pride in my role of nurturing a strong community among our Alumni, one grounded in Teach For Bangladesh's mission, vision, and values. We are committed to not only our mission but also to each other. Previously, I had 6 years of experience in talent acquisition and I honed my skills in graduate recruitment and HRM while serving as a Manager in the Recruitment and Selection team at Teach For Bangladesh. My expertise encompasses full-cycle recruitment and selection, strategic sourcing, data management and analysis, public speaking, session facilitation, strategic planning, and project management. Notably, I was part of a team that recruited the largest cohorts for Fellowship 2018 (46) and 2019 (99), making a profound impact on approximately 7500 children in Dhaka and Chattogram. My journey in the field of education began when I participated in the globally recognized Teach For Bangladesh Fellowship Program. This prestigious two-year program immersed me in the community to reduce the achievement gap and ensure educational equity for underprivileged kids. During this time, I initiated "The Left Side Classroom," an online project providing stationery to underprivileged school-going children. This startup, now enlisted in Teach For All's social innovation Hub, has made a significant impact, raising funds worth 3 lakh BTD and supporting 1500+ children in 15 schools in Dhaka since October 2015. We were also honored as winners of the Telenor Youth Forum 2015. My academic background includes a major in International Relations from Jahangirnagar University, complemented by a Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Leadership, Development, and School Improvement from BRAC University. I am on a lifelong mission to drive positive change in education and create opportunities for every child. Let's connect and collaborate to make a lasting impact together!#EducationForAll #Leadership #ImpactDriven
