Background

About Sujan Kumar Patro

I'm a Software Development Engineer (SDE 2) with 2+ years of experience building high-performance, scalable systems. I specialize in full-stack development, with a strong focus on frontend technologies like React, Next.js, and Tailwind, paired with solid backend skills in Kotlin, PostgreSQL, and AWS. I started as an intern at Surya Digital and quickly took on lead responsibilities. One of my most impactful projects was rebuilding an e-commerce platform, where we boosted Lighthouse scores from 15 to 95+ and achieved consistent A grades on GTMetrix. This improved user experience and platform performance. Along the way, I’ve led multiple key initiatives—mentored interns into full-time roles, hosted an internal React conference to share best practices, and helped standardize engineering workflows across teams. Prior to this, I interned at iNeuron.ai as a Data Science Intern and contributed to a makerspace initiative that deepened my hands-on skills. I also served as a Digit College Ambassador, connecting with the tech community and sharing practical insights with peers. I’m always excited to collaborate on challenging problems, improve system design, and build products that users love. Let’s connect!
