About Sujata Thite

Over ten years of experience in administration, accounting, medical transcription, and teaching field in the past. I have had the privilege of travelling and living in many countries like New Zealand, Indonesia, Kenya, Uganda, Dubai, USA, Singapore, Turkey, Malaysia, and Canada, etc. The experiences in those countries ultimately shaped who I am and how I perceive the world. Overcoming the challenges of living and travelling abroad (such as dealing with bureaucracy, accepting different cuisines, cultures, languages, and surviving without usual support network of family and friends) increased my resourcefulness and resilience. I thought it would be an opportune time to reflect on some of these experiences as I work with students and parents who have questions about different careers and educational paths. In no particular order, I offer up some of the most important life lessons I have learned from my adventures abroad. I am certified professional who, on behalf of Dheya works with parents and students to facilitate “one on one” career development programs. As a Career Development Facilitator (CDF), my focus is to inspire young minds and mentor them to achieve the best in life by understanding their own unique potential and personalities, which is of course unique, and link it to the occupational demands in industry while developing an individualized career development plan and guiding the child and parents towards a successful life for the child.
