As a Drug safety associate at Cognizant, I ensure the medical accuracy and relevance of individual case safety reports (ICSR) for various products, including drugs, supplements, cosmetics, and devices. I use ARGUS and MedDRA to check the coding of medical history, drug, and adverse event terms, and to assess the causality and expectedness of adverse events. I also identify and fill the deviations from the standard operating procedures and service level agreements, and maintain various trackers for incoming cases, feedbacks, external client queries, and correction data.I have 5 years and 7 months of experience as a healthcare professional in the field of pharmacovigilance, with diverse knowledge in drug safety and practical hands-on experience in ICSR processing, quality review, data correction identification, mentoring new joiners, and conducting literature reviews and post-market studies. I graduated with a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2018, where I gained a strong foundation in regulatory guidelines, grammar, and attention to detail. I am passionate about contributing to the safety and efficacy of healthcare products and improving the quality of life of patients.
