Deciding upon the filing status, residency status, State filing requirements, E-filing status, Elections and other applicable rules. Responsible for handling team in absence of team lead and assisting associates with the queries and issues, and motivating the team. Review financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures in order to determine forms needed to prepare tax returns. Furnish taxpayers with sufficient information and advice in order to ensure correct tax form completion. Updating Tax concepts on a daily basis. As an experienced team member, I was responsible for preparing/reviewing returns, training the resources available and updating the same to managers. Professional Awards- Awarded monthly Spot Award (Extra Miler Award) during June 2018 Tax Season for being flexible and facilitating the team to meet all its deadlines on time.
